Hi, I’m Deirdre – founder and creator of Maple Beech Co.

Like many mums, my days are full – managing work, family, and everything in between. But I’ve always believed that life’s sweetest moments don’t have to wait for big milestones. Sometimes, it’s the little rituals – a flickering candle, a familiar scent, a quiet moment after the kids are in bed – that make all the difference.

That’s where the idea for Maple Beech Co. was born.

I wanted candles that were more than just plain jars on a shelf. Candles that made people smile before they even struck a match. Candles that looked as good as they smelled. Candles that reminded us of the joy of birthdays, fairgrounds, and Nan’s kitchen on baking days.

So, I started creating dessert-inspired candles – playful, nostalgic, and a little bit magical. From Bubblegum Waffle Cone to Lemon Meringue and now our newest, Anniversary Cake, every design is made to spark memories, celebrate the everyday, and make homes feel a little warmer and more fun.
